Tim Ainsworth

Ordinary Person

Tim, his wife Monika, a Wodonga girl, and their son Alexander came to the Albury-Wodonga region in 2008. Coming from Sydney, Tim is now discovering all the benefits that life on the Border has to offer. Tim enjoys a hit of squash and relaxing with his growing family.

Extraordinary Lawyer

Tim completed his legal studies in 2000 when he graduated from Macquarie University and was admitted as a solicitor of Supreme Court of New South Wales. At that time Tim had been working for a number of years on the staff of various judges of the Compensation Court of NSW. Assisting his Judges and travelling to various country locations with the Court on circuit helped Tim gain a first hand knowledge of workers compensation law. He then worked for Holman Webb and Phillips Fox, a medium and a large Sydney legal firm respectively. Most recently he worked for Liberty International Underwriters. In these jobs Tim gained valuable experience of the operations of “the dark side”, ie, working for the insurance company. Now he brings all his experience and expertise to Adams Leyland to assist their clients. His practice throughout his career has focussed on personal injury litigation, especially in the field of workers’ compensation.
