Phil Young
Ordinary Person
Phil was born and spent his youth on the lower north shore beaches of Manly, NSW. His father, before moving to Manly, was a drover moving cattle along the stock routes of western NSW. This association with the land rubbed off on Phil and in 2003 he moved to Dubbo. He now lives with his wife, Michelle, two children and two horses on a small farm. His passion (apart from Michelle) is for horses and he is a member of the Appaloosa Horse Association and Australian Stock Horse Association.
Extraordinary Lawyer
Phil joined the NSW Police Service in 1985 and worked as a detective up until 1998. Studying law at Sydney University at the same time, he graduated with a Diploma of Law in 1995 and was admitted by the NSW Supreme Court in 1997 and has been practicing in the area of Personal Injury Litigation since. He has acted for thousands of people injured, many cases were challenging, some heart breaking and some had a funny side but everyone got the full measure of professional care and courageous representation that everyone deserves.
