Don Cameron

Ordinary Person

Don was born in country NSW at Armidale. He spent his early years on the land where his family pursued farming and sawmilling interests before moving to Dubbo where they conducted a well-known local business for many years. He now lives in Albury with his wife Margie Gleeson, 2 children, a dog and a small farm. His passion for rugby is fed by coaching juniors at the Albury “Steamers” Rugby Club.

Extraordinary Plaintiff Lawyer

Don graduated from Sydney University in 1979 with a Bachelor of Laws and was admitted by the Supreme Court in that year. Since then he has dedicated his career to helping ordinary people get a fair go in the legal system. In two and a half decades he has acted for 1000’s of people injured and often left to fend for themselves by a society motivated by more selfish concerns. Many cases were challenging, some heartbreaking and some had a funny side but everyone got the full measure of professional care and courageous representation that he believes is everyone’s due.
